Devin Trefry

Managing Director

With a Bachelor of Recreation Management degree from Acadia University, specializing in Community Tourism and Recreation Development, Devin has over twenty years of experience in tourism development, marketing, and communications within Nova Scotia’s Bay of Fundy region.

Devin worked as the Marketing Coordinator for the Central Nova Tourism Association for 15 years before becoming the organization’s Executive Director.  After working as a consultant for a number of years, he then became the Research, Policy, and Community Engagement Officer for the Municipality of Colchester where he continues to provide valued staff support to the Cliffs of Fundy Geopark.

Devin was a member of the steering committee that led Cliffs of Fundy to achieving its UNESCO Global Geopark designation in July of 2020.  He also attended the International Global Geoparks Network Conference in Italy in 2018, the European Global Geoparks Network Conference in Spain in 2019, and participated in the intensive Global Geoparks Network Digital Course offered in 2020.

Will Bollwerk

Community Engagement Coordinator

Will Bollwerk has been an Environmental Educator for over a decade. He is passionate about the environment, community, sustainability, equitability, and inclusion. He has learned a lot about the Cliffs of Fundy Geopark region while living in Parrsboro since 2018.

Will spends his free time hiking with his family, playing music with friends, practicing yoga, managing a homestead, and enjoying all life has to offer.

Will is very excited to be a part of the Geopark as he works toward building community relationships and coordinating volunteers.

Caleb Grant

Geoscientist

Caleb is the resident Geoscientist with the Cliffs of Fundy Geopark who rejoined the team in May 2025.

Caleb grew up in Hants County, Nova Scotia, and attended St. Francis Xavier University (StFX) with dreams of becoming a teacher. Shortly after arriving at StFX however, he transferred to the Geology program and, in 2018, completed an honours thesis researching rocks in the northeastern Cape Breton Highlands. Recently, Caleb graduated from Acadia University with a Master of Geology degree and is excited to be making the transition into the public education and communication field.

“While I was in school I realized that there is often a disconnect between the academic community and general public who may be interested in learning about geology or the world around them. Ever since I learned about the Geopark, and even before I joined the team, I have been eager to get involved so that I might help to make the geologic wonders in Nova Scotia a little more accessible.”

Neale Wagstaff

Marketing Coordinator

Neale is a lifelong resident of the Parrsboro area, and for the summer of 2025, he will be working in the Parrsboro office of the Cliffs of Fundy Geopark.

He enjoys hiking and visiting the various beaches, waterfalls, and wooded trails that the Cumberland County area has to offer. He takes pride in sharing the sights and destinations of the region with those around him.

Neale is interested in geography, geology, history, and the environment. He is currently a student at Mount Allison University.
