Our Interpretation Strategy

In the latter half of 2020, the Cliffs of Fundy Geopark commissioned a consultant to develop an Interpretation Strategy. This strategy reviewed the recommendations from UNESCO in their approval letter for our designation and provides a way forward for the work of the Geopark. We specifically requested that the Interpretation Strategy tie together the storyline that threads its way through the various sites of the Geopark while identifying our Three Pillars:

• The highest tides on Earth.

• The best place in the world to see the geological story of the supercontinent Pangea and its breakup.

• The land of Kluskap, Mi’kma’wi.
